Howard Corb

Mr. Corb first joined Arel Capital in 2013.  He has over 10 years of experience investing in multifamily real estate.

From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Corb was a Managing Director at Tradeweb Markets LLC, a leading provider of online OTC markets for fixed income and derivatives. Prior to 2008, he worked at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan where he served a variety of institutional clients to help manage their interest rate risk.

Mr. Corb received a Ph.D. in finance from Stanford University and a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.  He authored the book Interest Rate Swaps and Other Derivatives.

George Berahas

Mr. Berahas joined Arel Capital in January 2025. He assists in the underwriting, financial analysis, structuring, and due diligence of new acquisitions. Mr. Berahas has prior experience in private equity and consulting, including internships at CVC Capital Partners and Deloitte. Mr. Berahas holds an L.L.B in Law and a M.Sc. in Finance from the London School of Economics.

 

Jake Gottenberg

Mr. Gottenberg joined Arel Capital in 2022 and is responsible for analysis and due diligence for the acquisition of new assets. He is also responsible for the asset management of existing properties owned by Arel.

Prior to joining Arel, Mr. Gottenberg worked as an analyst at Independence Realty Trust, a REIT based in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Gottenberg also worked as a junior analyst at a boutique real estate private equity company in Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Gottenberg received his B.A. in Finance with a focus in real estate from The University of Alabama.

Eric Lagdameo

Mr. Lagdameo joined Arel Capital in 2013. He is responsible for acquisitions and asset management for the Texas markets.

From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Lagdameo previously ran the market-rate multi-family housing platform at Castle Lanterra Equity, a large family real estate platform.  He completed over $75 million of transactions, with a focus on the Washington, D.C. market.

Prior to 2009, Mr. Lagdameo was a director for MetRock Capital Group, an opportunistic real estate investment fund. Prior to MetRock, he was a Principal at JM Zell Partners Ltd., a prestigious boutique real estate investment and consulting firm in Washington, DC. At Zell, Mr. Lagdameo led and executed over $850 million in acquisitions and financing transactions.

Mr. Lagdameo graduated from Georgetown University’s College with a degree in economics and received his M.S. in Real Estate from Columbia University.

Tim Reilley

Mr. Reilley joined Arel Capital in 2014. He is responsible for acquisitions and asset management for the Colorado markets.

Prior to joining Arel Capital, Mr. Reilley was a Managing Director and member of the Research Committee at Gottex Fund Management. Mr. Reilley spent 12 years at Gottex in London, Boston, and New York evaluating risk and return opportunities across markets and geographies.

Mr. Reilley has a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Political Science from Kenyon College, USA.
